Vitamin D: the hormone?
Vitamin D is actually a hormone because it affects its core. The term vitamin has historically been chosen somewhat, but it is natural so. It is a powerful energy modulator and is heavily carcinogenic if it is right. It regulates many diseases and can do much more than support for osteoporosis.
Can you also take vitamin D in the solarium?
One can already try to achieve metabolic transformation into active vitamin D (1.25 colecalciferol) with sunlight UV light. However, because of the required dose, it would be so damaging to the aging of the skin that the potential benefit would loose.
Can vitamin D be taken without vitamin K2?
You can take vitamin D and K2 separately. It is often combined because both substances have a redundant effect on osteoporosis and arteriosclerosis. However, vitamin D deficiencies are enough alone, do not require K2 and have nothing to do with osteoporosis.
How much time should be used outdoors to avoid vitamin D supplements?
As a rule of thumb, in mid-summer for lunch, you should expose the skin to sunlight for about 2-3 hours to produce a sufficient amount of active vitamin D for one day. During this year you probably will not even be able to produce five percent of the required amount.
How best to take vitamin D outdoors?
Light and sun do not absorb vitamin D outside but in the intestine. Then this is first treated in the kidneys and then again on the skin and so on with active vitamin D. Because at present the massyland has maintained a healthy approach in the sun, it can be assumed that with the use of solar radiation, the synthesis of vitamin D almost completely suffers. In addition, we have found in Central Europe, endemic deficiency in vitamin D, which may be due to the polymorphism in the gut receptors. For this purpose, partial daily doses of 20,000 IU have been required. Unfortunately, the sun does not help either.
