Almost 48 percent of Belo Horizonte merchants who have already planned a black order for the mega-event called Black Friday promise additional discounts for more than half of the products to consumers on a date. Another 13.6% reduces the price of 45-50% according to a study by Federao do Comrcio de Minas Gerais (Fecomrcio MG). According to the unit, an expressive number of companies had not yet determined sales strategies when the query was made, which means that the percentage of participating stores would be higher than last year.
Only under a quarter of consumers Belo Horizonte (23.8%) expect Brazilian Megapromo to entertain for shopping. The Black Friday will be held on the 23rd day, inspired by a campaign event set up in the United States in the 1990s. "The success of recent years is related to the fact that the day has become an occasion for people to anticipate Christmas shopping, using better prices while brands boost sales and strengthen their presence on the market," says Elisa Castro.

Fecomrcio MG's research showed that 60% of customers really want to use discounts to guarantee the gifts during the holiday season. The majority (62.2%) plan to use values above R $ 500. Another 24% said they have not yet decided to take advantage of promotions and are therefore prone to trading in the season.
The most wanted articles are electronics (34.8%); household appliances (24.6%) and clothes, nature photographs and accessories (21.7%). In addition to lower prices, people expect to find a variety of brands and products (17.2%) and ease of payment (17.2%). Of the entrepreneurs heard by Fecomrcio MG, 35 percent were preparing for the mega event.
Cautiousness and consumer indebtedness are factors that may hinder sales at that time, accounting for 81% of business disturbances, according to a businessman. A sample of the questionnaire was 256 companies, which was between 11 and 18 October.
