Four months after Doug Ford presented his campaign promise to bring back the "buck beer", the only brewery still offers an option seems to be one of Ontario's prime minister west of the Toronto area.
When Ford announced incentives that sell beers to $ 1 bottles or may last August, two brewers took him to a bid – Cool Brewery in Toronto and Barley Days Brewery in Picton Ont.
Loblaws also offered the Presidential Choice for a dollar for a limited period of time.
But now the Liquor Control Board in Ontario says that Barley Days Brewery, which had been available in dollars – plus a 10-pound pledge – has raised its price to $ 1.65.
In the region, Crown, responsible for alcohol sales, says that Cool Lager on Monday was the only "buck a beer" that is still available on its website.
The government offered companies who agreed to sell "buck a beer" dollars in prime spots in LCBO stores and advertising at the magazine magazine's pages.
