Police arrest man following as a result of gender violence near York University



The police have arrested a man in the last two months in connection with sexual assault near the University of York.

For investigative reasons, the Toronto police said they would not disclose information about the arrested man or his accusation. He was arrested on Friday.

On Friday, the police issued a security warning when five women were sexually abused near the university, all since October.

Every time women were able to escape.

"We have a loose loose attacking women from behind," Insp. Domenic Sinopoli told the press conference on Friday.

The police also released a security video showing suspected walking in the area.
