Prague, November 11 (CTK) – In October, the state sold over SEK 1.03 billion, an increase of 8.2 percent from the previous year. The first time a month the choice exceeded a billion limit. This is due to data from the tolling system administrator, Kapsch. This year tolls have been selected to SEK 9.1 billion, an increase of 4.7% over the previous year.

October has become a record month in the nearly twelve-year Czech Republic payment system history. According to the system operator, this has been helped by several factors. In addition to economic growth, it was a large number of working days and holidays on Sunday. On average, the system ordered SEK 33.5 million per day.

The most important month to date was in November last year, when it was over SEK 960 million. This year, it was SEK 952 million in May. "Year-round toll collection can reach SEK 10.8 billion this year ", said Kapsel CEO Karel Feix.

The number of tolling operations in October was also a record, which is the individual lighthouses on the deck in the toll. The system is registered at 47.2 million.

In the Czech Republic, less than 12 years of pay-per-use has collected 97 billion kronor. Operating expenses have stabilized in recent months to 14%.

The current agreement on Kapsch's payment system will expire after 2019. The TsekinToll / SkyToll consortium has selected the Ministry of Transport as a new operator since 2020, which won the 10.75 billion CZK bid for ten years of operation. The competition protection agency will examine the tender.
