Preston Guild Hall's primary school theater and Grand Hall are to be reopened.
This happens after the Guild Foundation, funded by Simon Rigby, has appointed GF Preston Oy to act on the spot until the "world-class operator" can be secured.
Rigby says he has no interest in visiting the places, but claims to have "decided" not to leave Preston without Guild Hall.
He said: "Even if I had lost £ 6,000,000 Guild Hall, Preston, I have decided to leave without a flourishing Guild Hall, which deserves.
“I have no interest in Charter Charter or Great Hall, but a talented management that has worked so hard for many years deserves the opportunity to shape the future.
"In the past, all registered charities, local goodwill, or ticket holders who paid cash for withdrawn presentations should have good news when we have completed some legal formalities."
The Guild Hall Foundation was established to support art and leisure in the city.
Lisa Matthew, Managing Director of Guild Foundation and GF Preston, strives to secure the operator.
He said: “We have decided to see the Guild Hall to the next level by setting the core to the staff who understand the importance of the Guild Hall for Preston, who works alongside a world-class operator. This gives Preston the best of both worlds. "
