Corolla lives by its name

The Toyota Corolla is officially the most popular nameplate ever, and more than 40 million examples have been sold for over 11 generations since 1966. Due to its rich heritage and loyal consequences, you have to ask why the Japanese company decided to rename the 2007 hatchback from Corolla Auris to this part of the world. Some markets opposed that change, and now the name of Corolla has returned to the European market, and the Auris tag has to be in history.
