Two men were arrested after Gardai seized drugs worth 180,000 euros in Cork last night.
A massive finding came when the police shelled two houses at Maulbau Estate, Passage West, around 23am.
During the search, Gardai found a massive amount of drugs containing cannabis resin, ecstasy tablets, cannabis herbs and cocaine.
The sum of cash was also confiscated.
Two men aged between 40 and 50 were arrested and detained under Chapter 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act of 1996 at Bridewell Garda Station in Cork.
On Saturday night gardai confirmed that both men had been released free of charge, while a file was filed with the prosecutor.
The Garda spokesman said: "Cork City's drug unit, Gardaí, has seized several drugs with an estimated cost of 180,000 euros (pending) and arrested two men in the planned program of measures for the sale and supply of drugs in Cork City.
"The two-house planned search took place at Maulbaun Estate, Passage West, Cork, yesterday evening, Friday, November 9, 2018.
"During the search phase a number of cannabis resins, ecstasy tablets, cannabis herbs and cocaine were sought together with some cash.
"Two men (in the mid-50s and one in the late 40s) were arrested and are currently detained under the 1996 Law on drug trafficking in Cork, Bridewell Garda Station, for up to seven days."
