The Korean electronics company, Samsung Electronics, has brought out a folding screen that enables the smartphone to be converted into a tablet and to designate a company for the future of portable devices.
On Wednesday, director of San Francisco, Jastin Denison, revealed a prototype of the smartphone at the forthcoming Samsung press conference, pointing out that the company is ready to launch mass production of these screens in the coming months.
Denison did not provide information on when the folding Samsung smartphone could reach consumers.
"This screen is the backbone of the future smartphone when it's open, it's a tablet that offers an excellent screen experience." When it's closed, it's a phone that can be placed on your pocket, "said Denison.
At the same time, at the beginning of this week, Royole, California, announced that it will be the world's first commercially available foldable smartphone. The SmartPhone FlexPai is available for orders with a starting price of $ 1,381 (€ 1,147).
