Britney Spears said she had cried for two weeks about a TV documentary about her heavenly rise as a teenager and the ensuing media persecution and nervous breakup.
In a Instagram post, the 39-year-old singer said she hadn’t seen the entire movie “Freemaking Britney Spears”.
He added to his message on Monday night, “But what I saw, I was confused by the way they introduced me … I cried for two weeks … and I still cry sometimes.”
A document released last month also highlights the long struggle between Britney and his father over economic control.
Spears, who became famous in 1998 with the song “Baby One Mortime,” seeks to replace his father, Jamie Spears, as his guardian.
His father took on this role in 2008 when Spears was hospitalized for psychiatric treatment.
