If you want to watch Star Wars movies in chronological order, witnessing the separate rises of Anakin, Luke and Rey as they progress on their timeline, we have ordered all the films and threw in some bonus Mandalorian, in one complete list.
Star Wars the films are divided into three trilogues, and spin-offs and side stories fill the mythical story of the universe. First comes the pre-trilogy (Phantom Menace, Attack of the clonesand Revenge of the Sith), presenting the miracle of Anakin Skywalker and his fall from the light side of the Jedi to Darth Vader. We have only listed live action Star Wars movies and shows below, but you can wedge in the 2008s The Clone Wars between Attack and Revenge, followed by my own, much better received animation series.
Afterwards, it’s time to meet a certain space crime Solo: The Star Wars story. The next on the timeline would be an animation show Star Wars Rebels, but because we stick to live action, Rogue One comes our target, a film whose story events lead directly to the original trilogy. We see Luke Skywalker rising from the desert, the hero’s journey against the Galactic Kingdom New hope, Counterattack of the Empireand The return of the Jedi. Infamous Star Wars Special Offer, no longer a canon, can be viewed in between Hope and Empire if you have such a thing.
In addition, two 1980s TV movies, Courage of Courage: The Ewok Adventure and Ewoks: The fight against Endor (also both now non-canonical) have generally been considered earlier The return of the Jedi.
But it only has weird satellite movies Star Wars: In 2014, there was a major disruption when the Lucasfilm Story Group restarted the canon, preserving the main films and performances and dropping the related TV movies, books, games and comics “Star Wars Legends ”category. This now leaves the decades of reconstructionThe return of the Jedi openly to stories, with Mandalorian the first officially threw in his helmet.
Finally, we approach the sequel trilogy as Rey (pending last name) takes in a Jedi mantle The power wakes up, The last Jediand The rise of Skywalker. Animation series Star Wars Resistance runs in parallel across three sequel trilogy films. See now for a complete list Star Wars movies in order below!
