Lazada plans to expand PH's "11.11" sales wave

CABUYAO CITY, Laguna – Lazada's local online store Lazada's goal is to double the one-day revenue from Sunday's Singles Day, which offered up to 99 percent discounts on products sold on the most popular shopping portal.

In a press release, Lazadan Philippine Logistics CEO Juan Pavez Spencer said that the majority of the Chinese Alibaba Group owned 60 percent of sales on average from 9/11 on November 24, 2011, at 11.11.

"Our team has been preparing for large quantities of orders and deliveries due to the continued expansion of the storage and logistics partners' ecosystem," he said.

He added that the steady growth in the business allowed the company to start looking for another logistics center that would increase its footprint from 60,000 square meters of warehouse space to 120,00 square meters by 2021.

"Probably our new warehouse is in Clark, Pampanga," Pavez said.

Lazada, launched in 2012, is one of the best online shopping and sales outlets in Southeast Asia – Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Lazada has 300 million stores and offers a wide range of products for beauty, fashion and consumer electronics in household goods, toys, sports goods and groceries. The Philippine Logistics Center is the largest in its area.

During the online shopping, the Philippine buyers received access to over 50 million stores, including discounts of up to 99 percent and P1 offers and vouchers.

Lazada has about 30,000 listed sellers, providing more than 80 million products in the Philippines. It also offers thousands of authentic brands such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, JBL, Philipps, Mac, L & # 39; Oréal, Dove, Olay and Levin.

"In the Philippines on November 11th, the donation season will be used by more Filipino people to take advantage of exciting promotions and discounts to break their Christmas stores," said Ray Alimurung, Managing Director of Lazada Philippines.

The online merchants can use the same day / next day. A premium service is available in certain parts of the Greater Manila district, Metro Cebu and the city of Davao.

"In online shopping, Filipinos can conveniently enjoy browsing millions of products at their fingertips and buying their own shopping at the doorstep, without enduring heavy traffic and crowded shopping malls as a Christmas gift," Alimurung said. / atm
