Moscow, November 5. / Corr. TASS Sergey Fuchs. Summoning the CSKA Moscow football team Fedor Chalov and Ilzat Akhmetov to the Russian national football team are a logical decision. Such an opinion TASS expressed by former head coach CSKA and Russian team Valery Gazzayev.
The Russian team's composition of a friendly match with the German team and the nation's match with Sweden was announced on Monday. Chalov, 20, was in the extended national team before the World Cup, but did not make it to the final bid. 20-year-old Akhmetov first got a national team. In the current Russian championship, Chalov has eight goals to lead the tournament scorer.
"No doubt both Akhmetov and Chalov are very talented young players," Gazzayev said. "I believe that the goal of the national team is the right decision of the coaching staff to attract players to the future. The position in your club, the decision to attract these two players is logical."
"The fact that they were invited to national camp training camps is already a huge step forward in their career, of course, these are perspective players and the fact that they are now competing with other collections is very important: no one is saying that Chalov is now replacing [Артема] Dziubu and Akhmetov – [Романа] Oobnina, they were invited to the perspective and made it clear that the national team coach trusted them, as they have a huge incentive to move forward. If possible, coaches will allow them to play, but if that does not happen, it is still a challenge for the national team because they have a great success, "the source added.
The German national team will be held on November 15 in Leipzig, Sweden's team will be played on November 20 in Stockholm.
