Nexans Maroc, a subsidiary of the French group, opened the first electrical cables and transformer plant in Abidjan on 09 November.
Nexans Morocco, a subsidiary of the French group Nexans, was inaugurated on November 9 in the year Ivory Coast, a factory that manufactures electric cables for household and industrial use, Electric transformers and prefabricated substations.
The plant, built in the 32,000 m2 area, is located in the new industrial area of Abidjan. It is the result of partnership Nexans Morocco, Nexans France and a group flight, Nexans brand distributor in the West Africa area for 30 years.
The implementation of the mill required a € 15 million investment in the first phase. The second phase is designed in two or three years to extend product offerings.
The plants are run by trained technicians at Nexans in Morocco.
