Samsung apparently plans to launch the Exynos 9820, its next flagship processor this month. The company's Samsung Exynos Twitter account shares a teaser image that reveals the "Intelligence from inside" quote as well as the date 14 November. The teaser image suggests that the tech giant may showcase its next-generation flagship processor next week. "Think Next #TheNextExynos", the tweet reads.
According to reports, the Samsung Exynos 9820 processor is based on a 7nm process. The owned chipset is said to be significant improvements compared to its predecessor Exynos 9810 SoC. The Exynos 9820 chipset has a "trilogue arrangement" quite similar to Huawei's flagship Kirin 980 SoC and supports 5G reports. The upcoming Samsung chipset is also said to be coming from two NPUs (Nuclear Power Processing Units) to handle AI related tasks efficiently.

Earlier reports have suggested that one of the Exynos 9820 clusters consists of two customized Mongoose M4 cores, one Cortex-A76 cores cluster, and the third cluster of Cortex-A55 cores. Tipster Ice Universe argued that Samsung's core performance of the Mongoose M4 performance is "much further" than the ARM Cortex-A76. The new Samsung chipset has been said to be a Mali-G76 GPU graphics engine. The next-generation Samsung Exynos 9820 SoC is likely to compete with Huawei's HiSilicon 980, Apple's A12 Bionic chip, and Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8150 chipset. All of these chipsets are made with a 7 nm process.

Samsung's upcoming flagship processor is expected to be coming up with its new flagship Galaxy S10. The company's leading company has announced its forthcoming flagship series MWC 2019 in Barcelona. Recent reports have shown that the Samsung Galaxy S10 may have an ultrasound fingerprint reader. The flagship smartphone has five cameras with three camera sensors on the back and two on the front. Reports speculated that the new Galaxy S10 series could come in four options, with the basic model having a 6GB RAM / 64GB internal storage space and a box-to-body ratio of 93.4%.
