The amount of housing loans at the end of September was EUR 26.5 billion. The annual volume of loans grew by nearly EUR 2.5 billion and increased monthly by EUR 161 million. This is the current data of the Slovak National Bank (NBS).

Construction savings loans totaled EUR 2.38 billion at the end of the nine-month period, including construction and credit limits. Since the beginning of the year, the Slovak Regulatory Authority has changed the reporting of loan announcements.

The reason for this is the law change in mortgage banking and then changes in reporting from the beginning of this year. New times are therefore not available for subcategories of mortgages.

The share of housing loans of individual banks in Slovenská sporiteľňa was 27.73%. VUB follows 20.38 percent, and third place is Tatra Banka, which accounts for 14.3 percent.

The biggest contributor to the major building savings banks was the construction of savings banks. It was 82.75 percent. Other companies in Slovakia, Wüstenrot Building Savings Bank and ČSOB Building Savings Bank followed.
