Samsung introduced a folding phone

Samsung's Korean smartphone maker Samsung introduced a prototype smartphone that opens a book at a development conference in San Francisco a few days ago. Analysts, however, expected a very simple smartphone to be introduced, but only the technology from which it would be based would be expected.

In front of the prototype presented by Samsung, there are more than 5000 developers of software and partner companies. A relatively small screen with a diagonal of 11.6 centimeters can be found, while the main screen opens at 18.5 centimeters.

In folded mode, the device can be used as a standard smartphone. When a user opens it then the app goes to the much larger screen that Samsung has called Infinity Flex. Of course, it is possible to display much more information and content on this screen than the smaller one. This is not only useful for photos, videos, and games, but for example. also for news applications that can show a lot more messages.

Even better: As the Samsun message says, up to three applications can be used simultaneously in the spreader without becoming transparent. For a more comfortable use, new design for the new interface should be offered. In addition, Google has announced that the next version of its operating system will also support folding phones.

How to see a new smartphone is not yet known. At the development conference, Samsung introduced the prototype so that nothing else could be seen on the screen. Nor is it known when a new smartphone will come on the market.

Start selling should not be too far away. Samsung plans to launch "in the coming months" with Infinity Flex's mass production. Analysts are waiting for the first Samsung handsfree smartphone to be expected in 2019.

As Next Generation Infinity Flex is the next generation, Samsung has invited all participants present at the development conference to attend. If their applications are not appropriate, the folding phone is also a blank device that does not have the actual content.
