On Sunday evening, autumn fair 2018 is history – St. Peter's Square "Mäss" takes on Tuesday. Daniel Arni, leader of the trade fair and market in Canton, draws a positive balance. "The slow start after the number of visitors grew." In the middle and last weekend the audience was even very large.
Chaos Pendulum's technical problems do not spoil his record, Arni says. The train stopped on the first week of Tuesday, passengers had to be released manually. Otherwise no events have taken place, so Arni. When asked about the negative reactions of individual stand operators in newspaper articles, he says: "There are always those who are not satisfied, which depends largely on the product being sold."
For Arni this was the last event of the autumn, since December, the new leader of Basel Allmendverwaltung. Yet with him there is no sorrow on the last day. "Everything is going to end. Right now, focusing on me."
