American supermodel Cindy Crawford turns 55 years old. The muse of Karl Lagerfeld and Gianni Versace has worked with Revlon, Christian Dior, Chanel, Versace, Valentino and other brands. In addition, she has posed for countless magazines, campaigns and runways for over 30 years in the fashion industry.
Crawford also hosted a TV show and was an entrepreneur: He opened a restaurant, launched a cosmetics line and sold condition.
The supermodel could have been an engineer in the chemical industry. In 1984, he started at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Northwestern University. However, he only studied there for a few months, then continued his modeling career.
In 1986, 20-year-old Cindy Crawford signed a contract with the New York Elite office. The breakthrough for Crawford was his appearance on the cover of Vogue magazine in August 1986. After completing his modeling career, Crawford turned to business. In 2005, she founded the Meaningful Beauty cosmetics line in collaboration with the famous French cosmetologist Dr. Jean-Louis Seban. That same year, the Cindy Crawford Home Collection was released.
