President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro announced this Sunday that he will establish a national transport school run by the Caracas metro “for all registered and licensed carriers in the country, from this school they will be trained and supported”.
Dignitary, a representative of the Patio de Talleres de La Paz in Caracas, urged the country’s drivers ’movements to join the school, train and grow knowledge to strengthen the nation.
“All carriers have to go through the school, they get an official certificate of the courses they have taken,” he said.
The professional title of transport proves that men and women work in, among other things, surface transport, cargo transport, cranes, school transport.
There is a basic course in teaching that lasts two months, and from then on specialization begins, it is estimated that more than 250,000 transport workers are trained at this school.
President Maduro clarified that this training center must support the working class in the transport sector in various ways for the development of men and women in the work area.
“The national school needs to support the country’s drivers from an educational, cultural, socio-economic perspective by providing comprehensive support for the transport working class,” he advised.
On the other hand, the National Director commissioned a plan for the preventive and corrective maintenance of public transport systems. “I demand with all ministers that the key to public transport is maintenance. Some listened and did nothing, others did not listen, ”he claimed, acknowledging the progress made by Hipólito Abreu, the current director of the office, who has completed the return, work and preparation of more than 27,000 transport units. with its own spare part of national technology to overcome the harmful effects of the imperial blockade.
Maduro described the levels of care applicable to recovery and prevention so that people could provide a better service, “preventive, remedial, and comprehensive (or extra).” He asked to take into account managers, directors and those responsible for permanent corrective maintenance, which gives the machines a long service life. In this sense, he called on the Deputy Executive Director of Public Works and Services, Minister Néstor Reverol, to lead this goal.
He recalled that in the past in the Caracas metro system, foreign companies that charged a very large budget in dollars did this work. “Foreign companies did it and charged in dollars, in French, in Spanish, they did the job very well, but it cost Bologna and we depended on those companies.”
“Preventive, scheduled maintenance and refurbishment every 5 or 7 years. All industrial plants and machinery need maintenance, and we do it now with our workers, engineers and the working class of the Caracas metro, we solve, invent, create new parts and spare parts,” he repeated.
