Android 11 is slowly starting its way into Samsung phones from U.S. carriers, and the Verizon Galaxy S20 FE is the latest recipient. The update began spreading to global versions of the S20 FE about a month ago, and traveled to the United States last week on an AT&T model. Now it’s Big Red’s turn to send to OTA.

This update brings a new One UI 3 that adds quite a few changes. Of course, this is all based on Android 11, so now you also get all the new features that Google has introduced with the latest version of Android. The Verizon update includes a software version RP1A.200720.012.G781VSQU1CTLCand comes with a December 2020 security patch.

Verizon should now run the upgrade wirelessly, so if you own a Verizon S20 FE, stay tuned. We will definitely keep you up to date as the update hits more variants.

We’ve got more tips from readers on S20 FE upgrades, this time for T-Mobile and unlocked models. Taylor was also able to install the T-Mobile update on her phone.
