WhatsApp allows you to add contact information using QR codes. | Technology and Science Social Networks

WhatsApp design a new function to quickly add contact information. According to the WaBetaInfo portal, known for its successful leaked instant messaging program, the social network has been working with two new features that come with iOS and Android updates.

The first is the update from the "Share Contacts" function. Although the application already exists, the application will seek to improve the process. When the function replaces the current option, it is located in the same menu. (in the green message icon in the new contact activity).

The new interface, as shown by the leak portal, allows you to enter the country of your choice. It automatically names the country code (+51 for Peru) and when you add a phone number, WhatsApp will show if that connection is in the application (that is, you have an active WhatsApp account).

The second one is a function where you can share your own phone number. The feature has been recently added to Instagram under Nametag.

When you add a new person WhatsApp You may want to use a QR code for a person. When you read the code, the app automatically fills all the information and contacts are added to your address book.

According to the portal, when you first create your QR code, the app also gives you the option to cancel it. This changes the "Nametag" and the previous QR code expires. This process is expected to be unlimited.
