Release date Witcher 4 it may not be as far away as you think. CD project RED Some have earned a reputation for developing and revealing games for a very long time, but none of these beliefs are based on much.

Cyberpunk 2077 it also gives players the impression that CD Projekt RED takes a long time to develop the game, but is again misleading. Although the Cyberpunk 2077 was announced in 2012, it only began operations in mid-2016, when a team of the appropriate size began to develop later.
Meanwhile, Witcher 3 was made in about three and a half years, while The Witcher 2 was made in the same amount.
What has this got to do with The Witcher 4? Well, this week, CD Projekt RED announced that it will begin developing new Cyberpunk and Witcher games from 2022 onwards. If so, it would presumably mean that The Witcher 4 or whatever the name of the project is in 2025 or 2026, given the schedules mentioned above.

Working backwards suggests that the game will be unveiled sometime in 2023 or 2024 if it has a similar unveiling-release schedule as the previous entries.
