X018 Roundup: Crackdown Release 3, Xbox One X Discount, New Game Tags and More

Microsoft organized a special event in Mexico City to promote all Xbox One environment events, called X018. The event revealed new video footage for upcoming games, release date announcements, DLC and features, and even some surprises from Microsoft acquisitions. Crackdown 3

Crackdown 3 finally comes with a stable release date. You can patrol the city and break the skulls of some criminals on February 15, 2019. [Full story]

The company also introduced a brand new multiplayer mode for Crackdown 3 named Wrecking Zone. It will drop two of five teams against each other in the degenerating Arena.

For both fans and newcomers the original Crackdown is now free by November 30th. Come on and clean the city, agents.

Strength Horizon 4 DLC

Forza Horizon 4 introduced its first major expansion named Fortune Island. The DLC will take you to the windy winds of the North Great Britain and the deceptive weather and introduce a host of new cars.

Xbox Game Room Add 16 games

The Xbox One Game Service, the Xbox Game Pass, announced 16 new games in the coming months. These include PUBG, Hellblade: Senua sacrifice and Ori and Blind Forest.

The company also found that Ori and Will of the Wisps, the sequel to Blind Forest, will enter Game Pass's release next year.

Finally, Game Pass has its own dedicated application that helps players find new games and let them download anywhere.

New studio purchases

Microsoft also expanded its portfolio of studios and two other announcements. The first was the studio behind the story of InXile, Wasteland and The Bard.

Another studio was the developer of Old Republic and Fallout: New Vegas, Obsidian Entertainment.
